This chick is just over 5 weeks old, is sired by a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana rooster over EE hen. Isn't it a lovely play of colors with the subtle blue tones? I wanted to confirm the sex. I'm heavily leaning toward pullet.

One of its siblings, also we think pullet. I think I did pretty well in the EE pullet dept this time. Out of four EEs, I think all are pullets. The only male was the pure Ameraucana:

Nothing is yelling at me as a roo, and I have not yet seen roos of that color pattern (the barring/broken lines) of a blue partridge pattern. So, I have to say its a pullet.

Lovely color she has!

I think She is beautiful!!! she looks just like my Maisy as a chick and she still has all the same colors at a 2 year .

That is one beauty of a color combo on your chicken!

I think you're right, that your biddie is a pullet. I'd LOVE to see that chicken full grown!

I see a new set of quilt colors, lovely combination!

And what looks to be a pullet.
