Hello
I joined BYC from Istanbul, Turkey. Oy is the first time in my life that I am looking after chicken. I have 8 hens and 2 rooster. They are with us now since 1 month, and I am very happy that all of them are still alive

Out to pasture
I've heard Bresse are supposed to be the best tasting chicken but, I have never met one in person(chicken) or on a plate.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I raised dozens of breeds over the past 50 years, but Bresse is definitely one of the breeds that I've never had. I have seen photos of them, and they are certainly beautiful white chickens, and from all accounts, wonderful eating. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Bresse chickens.
