My chicken coop came today! (Unfortunately it was the end of my two days off, but I'll just have to stay excited until my next "weekend")
My chicks get shipped out on Feb 15th.
And I'm getting my brooder in order.
    I'm excited!!!
Also found a hole in my chain link fence I'll have to patch up....hope it's the only one!

Careful chicks slip right through chain link fences.

I just bought the house and will get a privacy fence soon enough. But I think I'll be keeping the chicks inside until the get big enough not to slip through a chain link...hopefully. Just in case though, I'll only have three, and I guess I'll just have to supervise them until the privacy fence! Thanks for the heads up.
