I went out to the barn and heard this strang noise coming from the duck/goose pen. One of my BEI ducklings was quacking. The other ones are still peeping but this one is just a quacking away. Last year I tried to raise ducks and they got ate by 3 weeks (stupid dog is gone) So this is a huge treat. Crystal

Isn't that the cutest sound ever?!

My Cayuga Ducklings are 7 weeks old and I'm starting to be able to hear the difference between the male and females by their voices. Congrats on your ducky success this year!!

Go little quacker! Mine are 5 weeks, 3 quack and 2 still peep. I can really tell right before feeding time, they are very insistent!

So far only one quacks the others still peep but that quacker, s/he lets me know whats going to happen LOL. C
