itching birds

    [​IMG]my flock is always itching... there are feathers everywhere.... is it normal...fleas ,mites ,???

    Birds are always preening themselves and many flocks are going through a molt at the present time. If your birds have external parasites, they should be visible to the naked eye.

    OK thanks
    I've looked under the wings of two don't see anything. they range from 3-5months

    Inspect the vent area closely. External parasites prefer warm/moist areas. Also, birds intermittantly go through mini molts.
