and my chicks still won't go into the coop at night by themselves.

They are in a run which is secure
and the coop is inside the run. I have tried leaving on the light, putting food up the ramp, even tried putting scrambled eggs on the ramp... I even put lights up the run one time, like
runway landing lights. They go up and down fine in the daytime. I have had to put them to bed every night, i've even learned how to pick them up two at a time. My back is killing me from squatting under the coop to put them to bed. There are 25 chicks so it's quite the mission.

How long will it take before they do this by themselves, and is there anything else I
    can try :(.....

I locked mine in the coop for. 3 days before before I opened the door so they could get use to their new home. After that the go in no problem. I am still leaving my heat lamp on in the coop to.

Ah well, mine would need AC rather than heat lamp. Today is a new day, I think i'm going to try to build them a new ramp, perhaps that is the problem.
