I started off with a lone coop that I had purchased.

    Chicks get to explore:

Dog wonders if he'll be kicked out of the house soon:

I heard sand floors were good so I went with them. But what about the run?

I decide that this coop was just not big enough. EXPANSION!

Progress has been maddeeee (in due time)

Because I am dealing with liver rejection, a few friends came over to help make thins happen!

We are now at a nearly completed coop!

And I am loving it. The area to the right will be covered with a polycarbonate roof. Sloped backward and ready for rain run-off.

The rest of the room will be of hardware cloth sealing off the L-shaped section. It has been a LOT of fun and already I have my eyes set on that aluminum barn next door. [IMG]

I think them flying in from across the country had more to do with me being ill...I just looked at it as an opportunity to get some things done!
