spring has sprung! our first batch of chicks (white leghorns) has hatched in the 'bator and this morning the post office called for me to pick up a boxful of peeps from IDEAL! the whole kit and kaboodle are safely ensconced in the brooder and are busily getting on with the business of being chickens in the lost world! *sighs* yes, it's my favorite time of year!
