I think I may be finding a stash like that tomorrow. Or else all of my EE's have stopped laying for the past 2 days.

we have the same problem! We are constantly finding these little clutches of eggs - In the barn, the greenhouse, the shed, the iris bed, the other hen house, under the dumpster, under the pine tree is the latest! And probably a lot more we haven't found! We have 1 hen, a speckled sussex, that has been laying like this since april! HAAA!! She even was broody and hatched out 1. Hope she loses this instinct soon. Very frustrating when you know there are more eggs somewhere and can't find them! [IMG]
