I know this will pass around the chicken community if it doesn't already.
My son, Kyle, was trying to get one of the little ladies to hold.
We come up to the chickens and gently grasp a tail feather so they stay still, then pick the chicken up.
The little ones are still unsure about it.
Anyway...Kyle got Feather, and grasped her tail, and she started SQUAWKING something AWFUL.
He kept trying to pick her up with the other hand, and finally, Christopher William (the new rooster), puffed his head out at him and jumped and smacked him with his wing.
I told him, "Kyle, you've just been ROO slapped!!!"
So now, I tell people I"m gonna Roo slap them, not b*tch slap them. LOL
Sorry, I know, probably dorky...but had to share a funny moment with you all.
