I was not expecting any eggs until next week! But I found 2 last night and 1 today! I'm so excited!! My pullets turned 19 weeks this past Wednesday. Here's some pics of the ones I found last night.

I put them next to a store bought large egg to compare the size. Not too bad for first eggs!

Now to figure out which of my ladies laid them?

Beautiful eggs!! And good luck on finding out who is laying the eggs. I have been trying for 3 weeks to figure it out to no avail.

Congrats on your first eggs! I've got 2 hens that I've had over a year now that I cannot for the life of me figure out which is which as far as their eggs. They ALWAYS seem to be in a nest box at the same time...annoying, but hey, at least they're laying, unlike my lazy juveniles from 5 different hatches...the youngest of which is 19 weeks. Sigh...

    Congrats!!

It must be the week for Spring chickens to start laying. My first one started laying also. Only 1 egg from her so far though.
