Found a black cochin pullet listed on craigslist today and have already (obsessively) emailed the poster twice asking if she's available. OK, so second email was to give my phone number that I forgot to provide.

Still... so excited I might get a little cochin!!

Is it a bantam cochin? That's what we are focusing on...I absolutely adore them...

    Posting says:

We have 2 Partridge Cochin chicks and a Black Cochin Pullet/Chick available.
Pets only, only to good homes.
    Free if you meet/pick up.
Must take both chicks or just the pullet or all raised seperately due to age.

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

    I got her!!

Person emailed me & we're going to go get her tonight. She's 8 weeks old and quite tame, apparently. I forgot to ask if she's a bantam.

My boyfriend is freaking out. lol
