Is the last photo in post #8 (BLRWs) a photo of a cockerel? I have a BLRW that I'm still trying to sex . . . 5 m/o, and no spurs, no crowing, no eggs -- nothing to make the job easier. Fudge does look like the bird in your photo, though.

Do you find that this breed takes a very long time to mature sexually?
 
Yes he is a roo.The best way to sex them is by the hackle feathers.The roo's will come in pointy and the pullets will be more rounded.Wyndottes are very hard for me to sex at an early age.I hope this helps.
