Jap Bantam "showable"???

Ok so im new to having a rooster. Ive had 6 black astrulorps, and have had other types of birds like silkies and easter eggers. So now i have a jap bantam rooster and i absolutaly love him!!! I wanted to begin showing him at the state fair.... I just dont know where to start with showing information!!! Any helpful links??? Is my bantam even "showable"???

I don;t know enough about Japs to speak reliably about your specific boy, but yes, Japanese are a recognized breed, and his black tailed white is a recognized variety. They should have very, very short legs, a short back (your's looks a bit long, but it could be the photo) and a squirrel tail, which he seems to have. I had a couple of Japs a few years ago, and liked their personality; but they were not show birds (legs too long) and I really didn't have space for them.

Yes he is a very small bird and does have a short back (look at the third picture) he has super short legs too!!! Thankyou for your help!!!
