Japanese beetles

Hi,I have a novel trick to control beetles! My girls love olive oil,so I fill a container with a medium amount of the oil, leave it in the sun and walk around my yard with a stick to knock the beetles into the oil..quick death,treats for the girls and no pesticide! I collect thousands and the girls have learned to recognize them on the ground

I got some of mine to eat mosquito larvae.

so far my girls have shown no interest in japanese beetles. I haven't given up on them though.
