    Just received 72 jap quail eggs 4 were bad hope i get new colours 18 days are long lol

    Wow 72 is allot. Congrats and keep us posted. Japanese quail is the same as coturnix right?

    Yes robopetz they are coturnix there are alot of colours and there not noisy

    I have button quails. Hatched 3 batches and hatching one more. I ask because I ordered a dozen Texas a&m hatching eggs. Texas a&m is the same as Japanese which is all coturnix right? I'm confused!?... Lol

    I put some of my own coturnix quail eggs in. First time hatching from my own! :)

    Yes jap and A&M are all coturnix. I have 186 shipped eggs in as of sunday. I have my fingers crossed as the mailman put them in the mailbox on their side. In Alaska no less........
