I had gotten Black Jersey Giants hatching eggs this summer. Four had hatched out, then a possum got two of them. I now have these two left. They are 14 weeks old. Do I have a Jasper and a Jemima, or two Jaspers? [IMG]

    Thanks,
    Jen

So sorry that you have my luck. You have 2 Jasper's there. I had a hen hatch out 4 cochin mixes and they all turned out to be roo's! It was a bummer.

Well, ya'll were right [IMG] [IMG] I have two roos. I wasn't sure about the one, but I am now. Definitely a roo. This was my 2nd try for a hen. I wonder if either of the ones the possum killed were hens. I guess I'll try hatching again in the spring. Third time's the charm [IMG]
