Jasper, the rooster (formerly Jewel, the chick)...breed?

His coloring is coming in more everyday, just getting more beautiful...any ideas what this guy might be? Probably a mix, but wondering if anyone knows-he started out as more black, and he is lightening up with more gray/ blue?, with the white/light gray barring on his feathers. This picture doesn't do him justice, but may give you an idea. Thanks!!

I don't know what he is but that second pic made me laugh. It looks like a barred head, buff backed chicken

Ha ha! I know, they like to snuggle. It was the only closeup I had of his head, to see the flecking on it.

He's a very pretty mix Most likely has a barred in his background (not saying barred rock - could be anything).

I really like his colouring!
