I'm posting in hopes of finding a new home for my Jenday, Mitsu. She is 9-10 years old, and we adopted her 5 years ago. She is in good health, her parrot virals were all negative when we got her, and not sexed. Unfortunately she has started to pluck since I've become pregnant, and now that the baby is out, the plucking has escalated. She is a sweet cuddle bug, but we can't let her out at all because she can get very territorial and aggressive with the kids. We believe that she would be happier in a child-free home, and with heavy hearts, decided to put her up for adoption. We won't ask for a rehoming fee, but will ask for your time to come visit her for an interview, as she can be picky when it comes to humans. She will come with two cages, her big one and a travel one, a carrier, supplements, lots of toys and food. I've included two photos of her - one will show the extent of her plucking (mostly chest and legs). Please PM me if you are interested in giving our bird a forever home. We love her dearly and only want the best for her. Thank you!
