the section on here that lists about breeds says this:
Australorps are often confused with Jersey Giants, and you can tell the difference by their legs. Jersey Giants legs are black, the bottoms of their feet being yellow. Australorps legs are black, the bottoms being pinkish-white.
Looks just like a blue JG cockerel I has a few years back. If you're patient, wait the 2y it takes for a JG to finish growing & then you'll know b/c if he's a JG he'll be huge! Rocks are also usually known for bright clean yellow legs with no mottling or willow.
I am happy to hear I do indeed have a JG! Now if am hoping to hear atleast one of my three roos crow soon! They are all from last springs hatching!
Blue Rocks don't necessarily have clean yellow legs, though. Mine do not. They have slate overwash.
