The top ones appear to be barred, so they would be neither jersey giant or copper marans.

What type of comb does the bottom one have? It doesn't look like a single comb from this angle and if that's the case, it wouldn't be either of those breeds either.

I do not see or feel a comb starting yet. They were grouped together with jersey giants, copper marans and Easter eggers; they were the biggest, though the others are the same age.

Agree they're neither. They're something barred. Clean legs rule out Cochin, so the mot common suspects are.....

Rock. Straight comb and yellow legs.
Dominique. Rose comb and yellow legs.
Marans. Straight comb and white/pink legs.

    Hi, welcome to BYC! [IMG]

Have to agree with others, they are neither. Also, Marans have feathered legs. So I'm gonna guess Dominique. [IMG]

I think they are Dominiques...very grainy on zoom...but I *think* those are rosecombs.

If the comb area looks like a tiny indent in the middle, sort of like a little horseshoe with an indent, luck running down the beak, that's the beginning of a rose comb.
