I have acquired a rooster and was told it was a blue jersey giant. The thing is, he is mostly white on his body with random grey feathers and mostly grey from head to neck. Is this a splash? I will try to get a pic. Thanks. -Rachel

Sounds splash to me. A blue will not have white with random spots.

If that is the case, what will he and a blue hen produce? Or him and a black giant?

    I know that a Splash x Black = 100% Blue

And according to my calculator a Splash x Blue = Splash and Blue

Thanks! Another question. He is 7-8 months old and has no spurs and doesn't crow. Is that kind of strange? This is my first jersey giant and I know they mature slow but by 8 months shouldn't he be doing something? Not complaining. Just curious. And yes 100% sure he is rooster.

Can you post pics of him? He should be crowing by now. Mine are 6 months old and do not have much of a spur starting, but they do crow.

Here he is. It has been flooding here so he is wet and his tail is growing back in. The previous owners chickens pulled it out.

He looks like a splash, just not sure that he is a JG. Legs look to be the wrong color.
