Well, I acquired a new chicken. Went outside to put my Araucanas up and a big black chicken was with them. So much for quarantines. It is very friendly so I'm wondering if someone saw my chickens in my yard and thought they would give me a free one. Anyway, it is all black, legs included but the bottoms of its feet are yellow. So i'm thinking black giant. I'm thinking its a she cause of her feathers. Ive seen pictures of giants but her body doesn't look that big so maybe she is just young. Anything else out there that's black with yellow feet bottoms?I'm trying to get a picture but my batteries are dead.

Without pics, it would be tough. Could be a giant. There are websites like feathersite that could help you id the bird.--if yo can't get a pic.
