Another game of: who are you and are you a hen or roo?

This is Jersey Mike. They came to us in what was supposed to be a group of Black Australorps - that is until their feet started turning yellow and their eyes changed!

We heard from a few chickeners that Jersey Mike is a Black Jersey Giant (hence their name) but some of the pictures we have seen of BJG don't have as yellow feet??? Or a yellow-ish comb -

So:

Is Jersey Mike indeed a Black Jersey Giant?
&
Is Jersey Mike a hen or roo?

Thank you all for your help! You rock!

Edited because I forgot to add: 9 weeks old, 10 weeks on Friday

BJG do have slate legs and yellow on their feet bottoms which can extend to the webbing between their feet. They have single combs with 6 points. They have red earlobes and flat backs. In many ways, your Jersey Mike looks like there is BJG possibly in the mix. However, the body structure and stance and tail are not correct or typical for a BJG. Not looking male at this time either. However, how old?

FWIW, our BJG rooster fathered many chicks. We kept a couple of females. Both were black with yellow feet bottoms and slate legs. But moms were not BJG, and were different breeds. The daughters had the build of BJG in general, although not the typical BJG tail, and did not achieve the size of our M or F BJG.

Super interesting! I will go inspect Jersey Mike's earlobes to see what color they are. They are 9 weeks, will be 10 weeks this Friday. Do you have any ideas what they could be crossed with?! (I know that can be an impossible question!) Thank you so much for this help
