Jim Thompson Farm - A Winter Warmer

For those shivering in the winter chills of northern climes, here's a link to some pics. I took at the Jim Thompson Farm near to our home yesterday.

The Jeep is owned by the American big boss of the Jim Thompson Organisation, a good friend of ours.

The Jeep must be a restored left over from the Vietnam War. There were two at the farm, cherished possessions of Bill. There was a USAF base not far away (Wing 1) now used by the Royal Thai Air Force. Old Jeeps are sometimes seen in private hands but when I drive through the adjacent army base I see many old US vehicles still in use. We have some old American civilian cars around too.
