Just an Egg Basket Picture

    The one in the middle is a Delaware egg. Top, at 12 o'clock is a BR, then going to the right, barred EE, black Orp, buff Orp, Orp/Brahma cross, and black Ameraucana. I just think eggs are so beautiful.

    Thanks for posting your egg basket, I just enjoy looking at pics like this.
    It gives me such an old-time homey feeling.

    yeah ok so i just mashed backspace and my entire message and the page that it was on went away. lol?

    anyway, i was asking, Cyn, do your barred rocks eggs normally have specks on them like that? my barred rock Mavis used to have specks on hers but she was the only one. i'm anxious to see how my two new barred rocks and my marans lay. if and when they ever do.

    That is Lexie's egg and hers always has some very tiny freckles on it. Most of the BR eggs don't have that. One of the Delawares has them on hers. Sold my Welsummers, but one of them had the most freckled eggs I have ever had from my flock.
