Just butchered my first quail... Now I need some recipies..

    I need some recipies its only one quail. It's sitting in ice water right now till I cook it. there is only one quail, breast & legs..

    easiest is probably7 just a quick sautee in cast iron with some garlic, shallot, white wine

    quail cook rather fast, and if you only have one...its not gonna fill you up much lol

    Split in two. Salt, pepper, flour, and pan fry to golden deliciousness!!!

    If it doesn't taste good to you like that....no amount of herbs and spices will make it taste any better! [​IMG]

    When you have 2-5 dozen, then you can experiment with the BAM!!! and all that.

    Me too! Just butchered my first quail. My very first quail meal ever! [​IMG] It was Fantastic!!

    We sprinkled spices on them, wrapped in bacon and grilled. Fabulous!

    I use a crock pot set on low most of the day when I get home they are falling off the bone done
