Just got a free LG...are they really as bad as some say?

Ive used an LG for 4 years now and only ever lost one hatch and that was my fault.
I have hatched 400-500 chicks in those 5 years including duck and quail.

Edited to add that I do not have a fan or a turner.

I just open it twice a day and roll.

I have had some good hatches in my little giant still air incubator.

My daughter just told me she wants to hatch eggs for her spring science fair project! So we'll try it and keep great records and hopefully have a couple of fuzzy butts to show off at the science fair in April.
