They arrived today at work. Got them immediately from the postman. They were mailed on Monday. I haven't opened box yet, thought I should wait to get home. How long do I let them sit before I start incubating? Going home at 5.

They are sealed at room temp right now.

Most people recommend letting them sit for about 8-24 hours. The reasoning behind this is to let the eggs get to room temperature, so they don't sweat when you put them in, and so that if there are any little air bubbles, they have time to settle. There is still some debate about the air bubble theory, but the room temp thing seems like good practice, especially if your eggs are cool to the touch.
