Just got my 4 sweet new Penedesencas home and in the brooder!

    [​IMG] I never dreamed I'd actually be able to have some of these chicks! None of the major hatcheries have them and I'd never seen them advertised locally but I totally lucked out and found some a few hours away from me. Worth the drive!!

    They were straight run, of course, so I bought 4 at $10 each (they are three days old) and am hoping for the best. I got two blacks and two partridges. The ideal situation that would put me over the moon would be if each pair of colors was a male and a female so I could get a little flock going. Wow. That would be a dream. [​IMG]
