I ordered these off Ebay for my laying hens but I'm not sure they are big enough. It said they were for chicks, laying hens, ducks ect. I've never used them so I'm not really sure how big they should be. What do you think?

I am not familiar with that style, is it upside down? Is it a 360 degree nipple?

That's a good question, thanks! I was just about to order those off Ebay too. I think if you buy some rubber gaskets that fit them, and then put them on your soda bottles upside down, they won't leak. I've seen hens use this size, but haven't used them myself yet.

Quote:Yeah the rubber washers come with them. I'm going to take a 5 gallon bucket and put them in the bottom. Then I'm going to hang the bucket.

They will work. And they will give you clean water and save time.
