OMG! Post office just called me, and she said my ducklings arrived. I'm so excited, and nervous all at the same time. Can't wait to meet the little things.

Went home on my lunch and took them outside. They were a little overwhelmed at first, but then they noticed all the weeds and bugs in the grass and started snacking. Then I sat down on the lawn and they proceeded to climb all over me. Then they did Something I wasn't expecting them to do on our 2nd day together....they started following me. So adorable!

aww so cute. This is my second year raising cayuga ducklings and my second batch is probably going to get moved outside this weekend.

Take about 4 million pictures over the next 8 weeks. They grow soooo fast!

I'm hooked on Cayugas for life.

I knew they would grow fast, but had no idea how fast lol. I left them for a day and a half and I could definitely tell they have grown. I'm so ready for them to go outside, not because of the stink brooding creates, but because they seem so happy outside. We spend a lot of time outside, and when they are tired, they just find a spot to sit in the yard. Then I start walking towards the garage saying "let's go to bed". They follow me to the brooder and go to sleep. It's so sweet!
