    if I have only hens and no roosters, will they still go broody or do they know better? Sorry for the stupid question![​IMG]

    OK thanks! I have 6 year olds and no broody ones, when does it start?
     
  4. Many hens will never go broody. If you want to try to get them leave 6 to 8 eggs/golfballs in a nest. The visual que seems to be a trigger.
