Something got to my chickens last night. [IMG] Two of my bantys were gone this morning, a RIR was found dead with a leg missing, and one of my Buffs had a leg that was only hanging by a thread of skin. [IMG] She was in such obvious pain, and looked very shocky. It was a kindness to put her down. It was very hard for me because I've never killed anything on purpose before. [IMG] I would have asked DH to do it, but I was the one that had raised her from a day-old chick, so I felt that I should be the one to do it. My only consolation is that she isn't in any pain now.

Do you know what got your babies? Do you have any more? Have you captured/killed the predator?
