Hi everyone! I've been searching the BYC forums for the past 2+ years whenever I have questions and I figured it was about time to join! I'll tell you briefly about myself...

I have been raising chickens since September, 2013. Right now I have 7 hens, 2 male turkeys, and one female turkey. My chickens are:
1 - Australorp (since Sep 2013)
1 - Ameraucana/Easter Egger (since December 2013)
1 - Black sex link (since 2014)
1 - NH Red (since 2014)
1 - Barred Rock (since 2014)
2 - Speckled Sussex (since spring 2015)

Turkeys:
1 - Male BBB (Broad Breasted Bronze) (born May 2015)
2 - one of each male & female - Royal Palm (born July 2015)

I found out about BYC by doing what else... Google searches when I had questions!

In addition to my backyard flock, I also have 3 dwarf Pygmy goats, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit, and some tropical fish. I love to spend time at my home and with my pets!

I'm excited to join and am looking forward to sharing with all of you!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. :eek:) You have a great mix of breeds. Black Sex Links are my personal favorites as they are very friendly and hardy laying machines that consistently churn out more than 300 large brown eggs per hen per year.
