Home is located in the Appalachian Mountains next to the Daniel Boone National Forest. 4 bedrooms, 1 bath. Located on a paved road with beautiful woodlands. Knox County School district with school bus pick up at the end of the drive. Very peaceful as neighbors are scattered. Has well water, 6 month old hot water heater with water filtration. This home has been lived in for approximately 13 years. Electrical wiring incomplete. Water is currently ran in the bathroom. Water must be ran to kitchen. Has a furnace but not hooked up. Insulated but no drywall and only sub-floors, with the exception of hardwood in bathroom. Comes with Claw Foot tub which is in need of refinishing. No appliances. This would be a great project for someone who is DIY savvy. Clear deed and no taxes owed. Taxes are approximately $40/yr. Would make a great vacation home once it is finished. Must sell ASAP. Only serious inquiries please. Sold as is. contact Penny @ 856-283-8836. Photos available upon request. [email protected]

That does sound very nice. I have a nice little place in the country- But I dont want to build there as it is just too remote. Although it is many years away I have been looking for a little place about 2 - 3 acres but am in no hurry to buy. Yesterday while scanning the real estate sites I found a very nice little place I loved it on site- even though it wasnt exactly what i was looking for. 2 acres in an area I know as I go gold detecting just across the road. I am not one to make rash decisions- but called up this morning to speak to the estate agent only to find an offer had been made on the place over the weekend. It brought me back down to earth and reminded me that dreaming about my future plans is best for now- and to be patient and wait until I find the perfect place. I love looking at real estate though - and imagining what I could do to places if I had the money to buy them.

Some handy person will snap that one up...lucky for them!

I live in the same county, just on the other end of it. I can see it in my mind, sounds so peaceful. I enjoy working on things though. My kids were getting ready for school though as I read this aloud to them, and mentioned I may check into it. Needless to say, they said you have to be kidding!!!
