I just took the plunge and ordered 6 sexed bantams for the spring from MPC. They have their own coop all ready for them, my mom and boyfriend bought it for my Birthday. I'm so excited to explore the realm of Bantams! I love my standards, but I can't wait for my new babies!

    1 Easter Egger
    1 Welsummer
    1 Quail D'Anver
    1 MFD
    1 Buff Silkie
    1 Blue Silkie

Funny story about the user name. My boyfriend came up with the user name when I first signed up. Today my best friend and I were exchanging Christmas gifts and she actually found me a childrens book called "The Bantam of the Opera" that is currently out of print! It was too funny!

We already have plans to remodel another shed into a coop for my mixed flock to move to so I can have more Easter Eggers in the current coop. This will happen in the next five years.

Oh yes, there will be many pics. I am all about the variety. I think a flock of mixed birds is one of the most beautiful sights to be seen!
