I just placed my order for my first chicks...

    2 Black Sex Links
    2 Barred Rocks
    2 Buff Orps
    2 Light Bramas

I am picking them up on Thursday. I hope it is okay that I got such a hodge podge of different breeds!

I think that would be just fine! That is what I am doing here in my flock. There are so many different breeds that I want, I'm trying to stick with two of every kind so that I can get everything I want.

Be sure to post pictures of them once you get them all settled in! Congrats on placing that order! [IMG]

I have RIR's, EE's, Astrolops, Buffs, and a leghorn/RIR mix. Its prettier to see all the different colors in the yard [IMG]

Looks good! I did that when I ordered. Now I have a nice combo of australorp, EE, RIR, langshan, brahma, cochin, and faverolle. Guess I just wanted to have a bunch of pretty chickens.
