Just rescued these Chickens - Can Anyone Help Identify & Sex them Pls.

    Hi all

    Been a while since I was last here but I know this is the place to get answers....

    I have just rescued 5 chickens from a abandoned house and am unsure of what some of them are. They were left to die by some lowlife but thankfully the neighbout the otherside phoned and asked me to help. Two are def Large Fowl Orpingtons, though they are still fairly young. But the other three have me stumped. Can anyone identify and maybe even sex them for me please....

    They're mutts. There's some production red in there and something else. They're both male. The black one sneaking around is a Black Sex Link pullet though.

    Thanks, I had a feeling they were crossed, but was unsure of the sex....

    Shame I cant keep the boys as they will eventually fight with my big lad who owns that coop.....

    I agree - the red ones are males and the Black Star is a female. Are your two Orpingtons females?
