Just saw a MOUSE!

    Im very scared of mice and rats. I was going to check on my eggs this evening and then i saw a little thing jumping in the run area it seemed to be a mouse! dos anyone no how i can keep the mice from comming near my chickens. thx so much [​IMG]

    the chickens will eat the mouse if they can catch it. you can also put down some mouse traps down but MAKE SURE your chickens cannot get to them

    Mice are naturally attracted to food and nesting material. But Jeeper is right, the chickens will try to catch it, and if they can catch it, will eat it. If it is just one, don't worry. I wouldn't ever consider using traps or poison bait anywhere near my chickens.
