Just Set 8 Guinea eggs

One of my neighbors came by today with 8 guinea eggs that he asked us to incubate. We set up the incubator and made sure temp/humidity was good, then put them in there. I hope we have a good hatch for him! I figure they'll start hatching around the Fourth of July, so there might be more than fireworks popping!

He's going to try and get more eggs, and if he can, we can keep a few. He's trying to establish a flock of guineas on his farm. We already have several adults running about the farm, and have 23 keets in the hutch with our chicks. He's been great to help us out when we have big jobs and we join up during hay season to fill the barns and silos.

I set 10 yesterday, 12 last Saturday, 48 two weeks ago. My bator is full... lol
