I just set my chickens last eggs... They were lost last night in the massacre. I know it won't "replace" them but it will sort of. Hope they do well

Oh no, I had that happen last year. I am very sorry. I hope the eggs turn out OK. What type of chickens did you have?

So did you find any of the ones that went missing last night or were they gone for good? How many survived the attack?

We had about 36 chickens... Lost 1 white leghorn, 3 bantam Cochin hens and 1 roo, 6 rir hens 1 roo, 1 ee and looks like 2 more are on the way... We have about 23 counted still some M.I.A. But we are hopeful... Got some pretty sorry eggs today 1 from an EE that is looking terminal and some more with barely a shell from stress. Luckily my bitesize chickens are still in the brooder.
