I just sold 10 Quail eggs for $3.90 (thats all this lady had that ive befriended at my local super market)

I know they can go for way more but it is what it is. Money is money :)

How do you farmers package your Quail eggs nicely?

I sell mine for $4dz. There are standard and jumbo cartons on eBay, other sites and James Marie Farms sells good quality too. I put mine in plastic food containers and people just return them to me each delivery.

I just sold my first eggs yesterday (chicken eggs though). I too was thinking of buying strong egg boxes and taking a deposit on them, then just swapping the boxes when they are returned. I hope it will work out for a handful of customers, which is all I need.

All of my regular customers return cartons or containers when they pick up new eggs. A good clear plastic carton, even the Styrofoam last a long time.

That's the idea I was kinda hoping to replicate - thanks

Going to formally deliver a batch of eggs for the first time tomorrow. 12 for $4.00 Canadian.

I found an amazing container. The little 6oz 170g plastic blackberry packs at your local grocery store :D I'll make sure to remind granny to keep it for the next deliver to make the switch and keep it green :D

Good for you! I sold my first eggs last week- assuming things work out I may at least be able to pay for their feed.

All the best
