Hello all
I am new to Back yard. I am located in East Texas. I have been reading a lot about chick es on line.
I have a 20x20 enclosure. I plan to purchase 6 sex link layers. Primary purpose is for eggs.
I have plenty of free range space. Any and all advice greatly appreciated.

Welcome To BackYardChickens! One thing that I would recommend is to pick them up a lot when they are little. It makes a big difference if there is a problem with one when they are older and you need to catch it.

I had one Sex Link hen. She was an awesome layer. She was also my friendliest hen. I would definitely recommend the breed.
