I was told this was some kind of bantam, but I don't know what. I'm guessing White Bantam Rock???

I was told this was a Golden Campine, but I'm thinking Rhode Island Red

The last one is a RIR. And the others you are right on. I am not for sure on the white one, I am not good with white birds.

Id say close enough for me. You done good.

Im not good at this stuff - they all look like chickens to me, beyond the obvious differences.

I admire those who can tell age, sex, day of hatching, parent stock strain, color of the breeders car or the source hatchery location, AND quantity of poo output at full growth - just from a fuzzy, lopsided picture of some ragged half grown pullet... it boggles me.

Does your buttercup happen to have a single comb (hard to tell in the pic)? That one looks like the Golden Campine to me. [IMG]

Ok, so we just traded in Martha, erm... Martin, for what we hope is another girl (roosters are not allowed inside the city limits). Here is our newest addition.

I'm told this is a Hamburg.

Oh, I love my hamburgs! So peppy and nonconformist, so unniterested in fighting or pecking orders, so independent and curious - total free range survivalists, and darned great layers - such good birds!

    good trade there.
