We have a year old aracauna. I noticed her tail tilted to one side, then she started to drag her wing, now she is limping. I've checked her for everything I can think of. I believe it is Merak's disease. She is in the kitchen in a large box. The kids love her dearly. I am afraid of what it might be like for them to watch her die. Any suggestions on the best way to deal with this? We've had our share of death already, one by raccoon, three by a large possum. Thanks for your help.
