    So it begins.
I found two blueish eggs at the horse stables. The eggs are wonky shaped and small. One has a little blood on it and the other is slightly cracked.
Sighted one rooster one time, no hens.

So I decided why not drip some wax on the cracked egg and put them both into the bator.

After sitting in the bator over night I candled and see this:

    IMG_20180420_145751.jpg JPEG_20180420_155244_7390428919132211557.jpg IMG_20180420_155402.jpg

I have zero first hand experience as to what a freshly laid fertilized eggs looks like.
I am going to take a wild guess and pretend these two are both fertile!

I went back on an egg and chicken hunt this morning...found neither. I am heading back to the barn now and will be there for a few hours to see if I can find anything else.

I hate to break this to you... but I don't think you're going to be able to convince the horses to go broody.

You know you've definitely caught the hatching bug when you're going out of your way to find eggs to incubate!
