Maybe Mr. Badass. That's a good one too. You've heard of the "better half"? I'm thinking it's short for bad half.
Yes. Flipping bats. We are going to call an exterminator and see about the options. The person who had this before was an idiot. Don’t even get me started.Rabies, yes. But also...
Histoplasmosis (caused by spores in infected soil, bird or bat guano has also been called “Cavers Disease” and “Spelunker’s Lung” because it would sometimes occur after long exposure to bat guano that had been stirred up by cave explorers. It can be a very serious disease, although most people infected with these spores will never display symptoms. It is a disease that usually affects the lungs, and often used to be misdiagnosed as tuberculosis. It is not limited to just the lungs however, and is very serious (or fatal) when it travels to other organs. Symptoms can include coughing, fever and general flu like symptoms.
My belly is already full from a big bowl of bacon and asparagus covered with eggs and cheese with a little salt and pepper.Shove it in people's mouths.
Me too.I really hope his name is Bad and not Brad.
I don’t breathe in the coopI should have posted the second paragraph also:
The people who are at the highest risk of infection are those who inhale a large number of spores by working with heavily infected soil, cleaning poultry pens, working in bat infested buildings, frequenting caves and farmers. People with compromised immune systems are also at high risk for contracting Histoplasmosis.
emphasis added. Glad we don't clean any poultry pens.
It's 74°F here.I'm trying but it's 125 degrees out.
Bats carry all kinds of diseases. In fact, the most likely source of COVID-19 is bats. What's the disease that bats carry?
Is it rabies?
Do you wear scuba gear in there?I don’t breathe in the coop
Histoplasmosis is fairly routine here from pigeon as blackbird poo....a good optometrist can see if you’ve had it from scarring in your eyes.... DH had a scar open up into a neurovascular web that had to be treated (very traumatic treatment including injections through pupil and old haart laser treatments). He now has a blind spot in his right eye as resultRabies, yes. But also...
