Kind of an odd question ... They always ship me way too much of this stuff. And it's not yummy AT AL

I seem to recall a good post on a thread here on BYC re: what to, and not give chickens. Maybe try searching for it?

Way too much sugar. The two main ingredients after water are sugar. Corn syrup is sugar, maltodextrin is absorbed into the bloodstream as glucose.

That makes sense. Stuff is supposed to make me fat so I was worried/focused on the obese chickens angle. I hadn't stopped to considered the concentrations of sugars. Thank you :) I'll keep feeding it to the worms ... they seem to thrive on it. I probably have diabetic worms in my compost lol
I read through abt 6,000 posts ... The problem is the product name is Nutren so when I search I come up with the chicken food Nutrena lol I did search by the ingredients but that was turning into another hobby. So I thought I'd try asking :)
