    I just saw a fox about 300-400 ft away from my enclosed chicken coop and run. It appears to live in a dirt mound in my neighbores backyard. Just makes me think about the security of my coop but, if he doesn't bother me or my animals I won't bother him.

    Sooner or later he will be stopping by your coop....count on it! If it has a den then more than likely he/she has young to feed. I would make inspections to see that your coop is secure or set a trap now! Better safe than sorry.... [​IMG]

    yeah I've been looking out the window every 10 min just to make sure the only weak part I can see is its a tractor and could be dug into

    Bury some fencing and put up an electric fence. I run a wire very low on my fence. If they start digging they should get zapped.

    could be a den, and parents feeding young will stop at nothing to keep them fed. A good offence is your best defense
